Where to Stay

standard cabin at lost river state parkVacationers at Lost River State Park may choose from among 26 cabins for overnight accommodations.  Of these, eleven are comfortably furnished classic cabins of modern design with wood-paneled walls and forced air furnaces.

The remaining 15 are legacy cabins of log construction.

All of the cabins feature a natural stone, wood burning fireplace; baths with showers; and fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, built-in cabinets, cooking utensils and tableware. Legacy cabins have fireplaces, but do not have a secondary heat source. The classic year-round cabins also have fireplaces plus a secondary heat source.

Towels, dishcloths, blankets, and bed linens are also provided. Cots and cribs are available at a nominal fee and may be reserved in advance to avoid a handling fee.

The classic cabins at Lost River State Park are open year-round. The legacy cabins open the last weekend in April and close the fourth Monday in October. Check in time is guaranteed by 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m.

Dogs and cats are permitted in a limited number of cabins. Nine cabins are designated as pet-friendly. Please review the pet policy or call for details and information.
